4: Chicago Studio Apartment for Two Nights: This Studio in the Residences at River East is in the heart of Chicago's Streeterville Neighborhood. It is two blocks from the Ohio St. Beach, three blocks from Michigan Ave. shops and two blocks from the Chicago River Millennium Park. The Museum of Contemporary Art is a short walk north. This studio is on the 23rd floor and has two single beds, a full kitchen, bath, TV and WIFI. It is an ideal location for fully enjoying the city. Carla Lind

5: Wisconsin River Boat Fishing Trip for 2: Explore the breathtaking Lower Wisconsin River in a Stealthcraft UFO Drift Boat. It does this experience a disservice to call it just a fishing trip. Do you want to fly fish for small mouth bass or muskies, pitch crank baits for walleye, or soak a worm for one of the varied species living in the Wisconsin River? It is up to you and your guest. Your captain can accommodate your needs. For this 6-8 hour float all you need to do is bring your sunscreen, polarized sunglasses, wading shoes and a great attitude. We'll have a blast! 6: Half of a Hog: Marr's Valley View Farms is donating a half hog and the processing of it for your family's dining enjoyment. Processing will be done at Weber's Meats in Cuba City, WI. You will take home approximately 80 pounds of meat depending on the size of the hog. We will coordinate your cutting instructions for you with the processor. All you need to do is pick up your delicious pork at Weber's when it is ready. 10: Wisconsin River Canoe Experience and Picnic Lunch on a Sandbar.: Canoe the Wisconsin River: 2-4 people can celebrate the magnificent outdoors of the Wisconsin River banks for a 6 mile excursion. Your hosts will meet you at the Highway 14 bridge in Spring Green with the canoes, and you will paddle to Otter Creek boat landing in Lone Rock. 13: Women's Fly Fishing Stream Walk: Join the Harry and Laura Nohr Chapter TU board member, Carol Murphy, for a beautiful walk along some of Southwest Wisconsin's blue ribbon trout streams. Carol will share with you the history of the restoration of these streams while pointing out the perfect places for you to wet your line in hopes of catching a feisty Wisconsin trout. 14: 10 lbs. Wild Alaskan Sockeye Salmon: This auction item is for 10 lbs of (frozen) sushi-grade, wild-caught Alaskan sockeye salmon. Kwee-Jack Fish Co. harvests wild sockeye salmon in the pristine water of Bristol Bay, Alaska. The salmon is sustainably caught, filleted, de-boned and flash-frozen (a process that perfectly preserves the salmon fillets, allowing them to be kept frozen for years and also meets the USDA guidelines for sushi-grade salmon). 15: Elk Carving: John Sharp has been working with wood sculpturing for over 60 years and is recognized as one of our country's finest sculptors. This year John has produced this special carving that he created exclusively for the CCFC auction. He continues to be inspired by the beauty of animals in the wild, so "The Elk" has been brought to life from a block of black walnut wood. This carving is 11"L x 6"W x 10"H. John C. Sharp

21: Sandhill Crane Tour: A guided tour of Leopold Shack near Baraboo, WI. Following the tour you will enjoy wine and snacks at the Leopold Foundation and a lecture on sandhill cranes by Dr. Stan Temple. 23: Guided Tour of Native American Mound Sites: A guided tour for 4 to 6 people of 3-5 sites containing Native American burial mounds. The sites are located near Muscoda in Richland and Iowa Counties. Your tour guide, Mark Cupp, has extensive experience and knowledge of mounds in the lower Wisconsin State Riverway. 24: Amphicar Ride and Picnic for Three: Novelty car collector extraordinaire, Daryl Tresner, will meet you and two others at Blackhawk Lake, Iowa County. 25: Enthusiastic Gardeners: Seven enthusiastic garden workers welcome the opportunity to create, refresh or reclaim a garden at your home within a 30 mile radius from Dodgeville. 26: From Garden to Plate: A Cooking Class and Dinner with an Hispanic Flair: Guests will meet at Carlos Mata's two-acre garden to gather provisions, and then regroup in Marcia Jewell's kitchen down the road. Under Carlos's watchful eye, guests will slice and dice to create a multi-coursed dinner with a focus on garden-inspired dishes of the season. Date of the Event: Saturday, August 3 - at the height of the growing season. 27: Writing Desk with Marble Top: This is a one of a kind desk with a marble top created by Dr. Giesen. The marble top was made from a marble slab removed from the Wisconsin State Capitol in Madison, WI during recent renovations. The marble is believed to have been placed in the capitol building in 1924. The base of this desk is made from beautiful cherry wood. Dr. James Giesen

28: "Autumn Birches At Split Rock": "Autumn Birches at Split Rock" is a panoramic image from northern Minnesota. The print is dry mounted on masonite and laminated, creating a durable, easy-to-care-for piece of artwork that is also less prone to reflections than a traditional framed print. When hung, this piece is designed to 'float' away from the wall slightly and has a contemporary look, but will fit most home or office decors.
